Doug Fir Trestle Table - SOLD
This elegant, single-slab table began as a towering fir 4' in diameter. By cutting this dying tree in a timely way, not only was a hazard to the homeowner's structure removed, but the material was preserved before it became unsalvageable. Over the course of the past two years, the tree was processed into the beautiful piece you see here. The tree will, in a way, live on for many more years to come.

This solid White Oak work surface was created in collaboration with Earthbound Industries. Serving as a working surface for a local architecture firm, this piece features built-in storage, mitered corners and following grain. Custom steel components were fabricated by a local metal worker.

Black Cherry Coffee Table
Mounted on 2" flatbar, this piece of cherry shines! The typical reds that we're used to seeing in cherry are complimented by steaks of black, green, a hint of pink. Knots, figuring and the scar of a tree climber's spurs all add to the slab's character!

At 2.25" thick, these slab legs support an equally stout top! Solid joinery and a welded steel stretcher make this a solid piece while intact bark and an included limb add unique interest. Hidden adjustable feet account for any minor variation that may exist in the floor. Materials were cut in Portland's Overlook neighborhood.

Reclaimed Doug Fir Stools
These old beams have been given a new life as a collection of beautiful, industrial stools. The marks of their age and use are highlighted with a durable, easy to repair finish. Custom-made 4" leather tabs are secured with black, square-headed lag screws, making for a fine detail and easy handling.

Coast Redwood Bench
Between the species' natural rot resistance and their outdoor-quality finish, these benches make a great place to relax on a covered porch or other protected outdoor space. Keep this piece out of direct weather and severe sun exposure and enjoy a place to rest for years to come! The custom metalwork is finished with semi-gloss black powder coating. The 2" tube legs are open on the bottom without additional feet and would not be suitable for delicate or abrasive surfaces.

Reclaimed Doug Fir Cafe Table
Reclaimed fir boards have been laminated, imperfections have been filled with epoxy and a refined profile has been routed, elevating the piece. Stainless steel hardware mounts the 1.25" surface to a refurbished cast base.

Salvaged from a storm damaged tree in Milwuakie, Oregon, this piece features a stripe of blonde sapwood on either side of the pleasantly soft-looking heartwood. A hard finish improves the durability of this surface, but should still be treated with more care than harder wood species.
